I've travelled over 500mi of the Alcan in two days to Watson Lake. Today alone I've seen countless Moose, Grizzly Bear, Caribou, bighorn sheep and Wood Bison. I swam in the relaxing Liars Hot Springs and spent hours battling a 25mph headwind keeping my speed below 30. Road conditions are bumpy and my headlight brackets cracked weld squeaks incessantly.

Dave and Joan, thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality in Prince George. You are truly wonderful people and I look forward to visiting as I head down the Cassier Hwy in a few weeks. Cheers!

Mike SaundersIn May 2014 I quit my job to ride a Honda Ruckus over 69'000 mi and counting. Wild camping most nights and cooking most of my own meals, I keep the costs low and the landscape changing. Archives
