Day 8: Fredonia, NY to Brookville, PA
It rained and rained and rained making up for a week without rain. I worked on my GS fixing an electrical issue before heading off into the soggy day with a smile on my face around 1:30. It was great spending times with Beard's folks overnight and into the morning.
I took few shots riding around in pouring rain and stayed mostly dry and warm.
I bought a $1 burger from a fast food chain and found this in the parking lot. Breakfast is also paid for now too!
I rode west into the storm and away from home until I reached the dry end of it. Phew! I found myself in Brookville, PA with about an hour of daylight left. I cruised around looking fora single beer but the distributor only sold huge packs so I settled for some whiskey down by the train tracks.
Then found this old impromptu camp on a flowing creek. The rain had mostly ended but was still dripping heavily in the dense woods.
I went for a walk and smoked my pipe as I surveyed the tracks my GS left in the soft sand.

The rain picked up again so I strung up my hammock, sipped some whisky then went to bed around 7:30.
