The bright snowy peak of Mt Baker loomed ahead begging me to take its picture. I camped under stars and moon on the shores of quiet Baker Lake, drifting off to sleep as Loons called across the water. This morning I learned that a 6' round Doug Fir fell across the road overnight blocking access one mile in. Good thing I camped where I did! Nice water for a bath :)
